Some Quick Facts about the PNW Chapter of SGMP:

• Chartered as Seattle Chapter on April 17, 1985; the second chapter chartered in SGMP
• Renamed Pacific Northwest Chapter in 1988
• Hosted SGMP's 9th National Education Conference in 1991
• Representing SGMP all across Washington state and Idaho
• Current membership - 70

PNW SGMP is managed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership.

Joining a Chapter Committee helps members learn more about the chapter and the meetings industry as well as develop relationships with other members. PNW SGMP has seven committees - Program, Finance, Membership, Newsletter, Community Outreach/Fundraising; Nominations and Elections, Scholarships/Awards.
